We are leading suppliers of sun costruction chemicals.
Description
Sun Plast - PW is a high moleculer weight polymer, chioride free, high range water reducing admixture designed as aid to high quality concreat production. It conforms to BS 5075 Part 1 (1982) and ASTM C494 - 98 Type A & F.
Recommended Use
General purpose Ready mix Concrete.
Can be use in precast concrete work.
Mass concrete work.
Low W/C ratio concrete.
Structural RCC construction.
Features & Benefits
Reduced W:C ratio up to 12%.
Lower water requirement for given workability.
Easier placing, better compaction and finishing.
Lower cement content for specified strength.
Increases strength and durability of concrete.
Higher cohesion.
Reduces risk of segregation and bleeding.
Improve slump and reduce permeability.
Application
Sun Plast - PW should be added to the gauging water at a rate equivalent to 0.125 liters per 50kg cement.
In certain harsh mixes the addition may be increased if compaction and flow around re-inforcement needs to be a maximum. This increase may be to an equivalent of 0.25 liters per 50kg cement, but actual dosags may be fixed by conducting field trials.
Standard mix design methods may be used when Sun Plast - PW is incorporated into concrete and site trials will indicate the optimum content for a given strength requirement under specific conditions. it will be found that normally this cement content will be approximately 10% less then an equivalent mix without Sun Plast - PW and where aggregate grading is carefully selected may be as high as 15% with gap - graded or harsh mixes, or mixes with water absorbent aggregates, the cement reduction may be less than 10%. It is important to determine the optimum cement content by site trials.
Concrete mixes can be produced with a reduction of water in the region 10 to 15% with an increase in workability of between 80 to 120%.
